GEORGE CITY, PLACING THE SAME UNDER THE MANAGEMENT STATE AND CONTROL OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION, LIMITING STUDY AND PRESCRIBING MENTS THEREIN, APPROVING THE COURSE OF ENTRANCE AND PROVIDING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID REQUIRE- A METHOD OF SCHOOL. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Utah: 1 Section 1. There is hereby established a State Junior Col- '-' lege at S t George City, to be known as the Dixie Junior College, 3 upon condition that the present owners thereof shall convey and 4 transfer to the State of Utah, a good and sufficient title, free 5 of incumbrance, to the present campus, buildings and equipment 6 fit the Dixie College, without cost to the state. The said school 7 shall -e opened for registration of students for the school year 8 beginning July 1st. 1933. The course of study therein shall be ' 9 limited to the first and second years of oollegc work and said 10 school shall be maintained by the s t a t e d II Section 2. The State Board of Kducation ahall have the 12 management and control of said school, prescribe the course of 13 study, employ the inetrnetors, and prescribe therr-qualifications, 14 appoint a president, and prescribe entrance requirements of 15 students to the said school. / 16 Section 3.
